The ambition and enthusiasm of the Syrian-Dutch writer/director is inexhaustible. Amir is a genuine classical storyteller with a clear and strong vision. With great love and admiration for Hollywood cinema, Amir has mastered the rules of storytelling at the Netherlands Film Academy, where his graduation film, ‘It Will Rain’, made it to the final list of the Student Academy Awards (Oscars). Amir believes that a good story well-told, is clear and simple, yet immersive and compelling.
